Abstract:This article analyses peer-to-peer communicating technology (P2P) culture a.k.a. file sharing as s leisure form. P2P is used to exchange intellectual property, such as music, films, games and writings. The issue of copyright, the ownership and control of intellectual and artistic property is closely related to the increasing use of P2P. This paper concentrates on the efforts of the recording industry to control P2P, in order to avoid losses caused by Internet piracy.
