Abstract:The study explores the relationship between quality focused human resource practices(QHRP) and organizational performance results. Case studies on 69 US healthcare firms were conducted to determine what aspects of human resource system contributed to the performance outcome. The results of the study suggest that knowledge management and strategic management are positively related to financial performance of these companies. General human resources contributed positively to both customer and employee satisfaction. However, process management was found to have a negative relationship with employee satisfaction.
