Abstract:The subjects of the paper are business law in Great Britain and the bankruptcy in United States. The author focuses on the plans of the government to reform business laws for preventing bankruptcy of companies in Great Britain. The paper pays attention to support extended by the Federation of Small Businesses to the government, considers the causes of bankruptcy and the way of avoiding bankruptcy. He states that with bankruptcy on the increase, the government has unveiled plans to reform the laws, with the aim of de-stigmatizing failure and encouraging enterprise.
