| Abstract: | This paper makes a comparison between China's current financial structure and Japan's old structure during the period of high-speed economic growth after world war II (1955-1970) in terms of the structure of fund flow and the relationship of financial transactions. On the basis of that, it examines the train of thought on the reform of China's financial system. In China, lack of funds and low efficiency in the use of funds coexist. So the tasks of financial reform are to change China's financial structure thoroughly and shift financial transactions from the government-led ones to market-oriented ones and establish a financial structure with market as the basic means for allocation of funds. |
