| Abstract: | Currency deflation began to appear in China in 1997,and it further developed in 1998. It became more serious in 1999. The descendant scope of agricultural products' purchase price is the largest. The ex-factory price of industrial products appears a declining trend. Overcapacity is the major cause of currency deflation; however, the origin of Overcapacity is blindfold investment and repeated construction. Suggestions on administration: adopt "nonviolation"; ensure the proper structure of financial deficit; rescind some outdated controls; expand the scale of loan disbursement, etc. |
