| Abstract: | German unification has led to the total collapse of cargo-handling trade in the ports of the Mecklenburg/West-Pomeranian coast. They can be potential competitors for the ports of Schleswig-Holstein in Baltic Ferry transport. Their chances, however, of diverting freight from their normal routes are small. |
