Abstract:It is necessary for China to enter overseas oil resource markets for the following reasons: 1. the increasingly serious contradictions between supply and demand at home 2. the insufficient oil reserves, 3. too surplus oil workers and more idle facilities, 4. the rising cost of exploration which led to low efficiency. China should adopt the following tactics of entering overseas oil resource markets: 1.China's investment should focus on Russia, the Middle East North Africa and South Asia. 2.China should adopt such entering modes as purchasing reserves, acquiring share transfer of exploration, forming united corporations to apply for the right of exploration or apply for it alone to resource countries and raising fund, by joint business applying for loans or issuing bonds.
