| Abstract: | At present, the coal output has already exceeded its demand but power is still in short supply. So energy is still the "bottle neck" of economic development. The major factor influencing energy supply and demand is the lower level of economic development, which affecting the input in energy industry. However, technological progress is the most important way of increasing energy output and raising use efficiency, thus easing the contradiction between demand and supply. The key to it is to rationally adjust industrial structure and control population growth. By the year 2010, the total output of energy can basically satisfy the domestic demand. But the contradition between demand for and supply of oil will intensify to some extent due to the imbalanced structure and need to import 48 million of oil yearly. |
