| Abstract: | Michael Brown has explored the possibilities of using regression analyses to explain the relationship between circulation and readership. Van Vliet responds to Brown's work. Using figures from the Dutch CATI-based SummoScanner readership research, 1986, Van Vliet proves that multi regression analysis can provide a reasonable basis for explanation of variations in RpC figures. He suggests the results should be confirmed by other kinds of surveys from other countries. |
