| Abstract: | Anglian Windows, the market leader in the double glazing industry pursues highly effective policies. Anglian and its chairman have been more than willing to take risks in terms of product development and production technology. The combination of technological risk-taking and financial prudence is only part of the reason for Anglian's success. Marketing is another. The company established a chain of showrooms where potential could see the company's products. Anglian has built Britain's largest commercial computer network giving several market advantages. Sensitivity to demand swings led to the implementation of a JIT (just-in-time) program. |
