Abstract:Revisit intention (henceforth as: rev-intn.) has become an important research topic. As rev-intn. varies over time, this paper proposes using of a latent growth curve to model the developmental trajectory of return behaviour.
Based on data gathered among French, English, and German travelers, the proposed model was tested in two steps in AMOS 16.0 using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methodologies to examine the effects of novelty seeking (here as: n-s.), destination image (as: d-i.) and overall satisfaction (as: satfn.) levels across intent to revisit trajectories. It was indicated that both n-s. and low satfn. among travelers attenuate immediate rev-intn. On the contrary, a positive d-i. enhances both immediate and future rev-intn.
