| Abstract: | To obtain the optimal planning solution for a FMS mathematical programming approaches becomes extremely difficult when forming mathematical models for a system characterized by high flexibility resulting from multiple part types, parallel machines, and alternative routines. This paper applies knowledge acquisition technologies of artificial intelligence to induce decision making knowledge from the collected data. The presented learning effort tries to know the scheduling decision-mix which runs the system to achieve the required system performance. |
