Abstract:This essay explores the critical elements that organizations need to address in developing a global e- business strategy. Companies seeking to become global players must pay close attention to and find a delicate balance between globalization, localization, customization, translation and the growing trend towards internationalization. Striking a winning balance between these conflicting elements is by no means trivial. Each of these elements is fraught with pitfalls if not done correctly. In addition, if a company is serious about conducting business in a certain country, it should at a minimum consider the unique legal, geopolitical, economic and cultural landscape of that country. In indicator of the potential success of doing e-business in that country.
