| Abstract: | The United States Army has been a part of America since 1775. Today the objective is to transform the best army in the world, into the best army in the world, while maintaining links with the past: Concord and Lexington, Gettysburg, Normandy. Getting smaller is not better, becoming better is better, that is the challenge. The Army's Chief of Staff describes the role of leadership in transforming the USA Army from beating the Russians to an organization in which individuals can be all they can be. |
