| Abstract: | This paper investigates the effect of industry and home country characteristics on domestic firm innovation investment and considers whether these relationships are more pronounced if the firm is competing in global versus multidomestic industries. The findings indicate that both industry structure and national context have significant direct effect on firm innovation investment. |
