| Abstract: | Contemporary views of power and the state-of-the art of research in organizational power are grossly inadequate for evolving an index for determining the power of functional units. The current paper introduces two important elements of power: time and organizational power -mission link - (leading ot two related concepts of power: static and dynamic views of power). On the basis of that, a framework for measuring the power held by functional units is proposed. |
