| Abstract: | The questions of ethics and power in organizations are discussed. The theoretical background is outlined. Different approaches and opinions are compared. The personality types of Leaders, Destructive Achievers, Builders, Innovators and Mechanics are introduced. The five types are defined and described. The personal characteristics of Destructive Achievers are analyzed. Reasons of promoting these persons are examined. The competitive edge of Destructive Achievers is highlighted. The cumulative negative effects of management's promotional bias are emphasized. The impacts of the type on others are described. |
