| Abstract: | Projects that require students to interview, survey or observe human subjects are often assigned at business communication faculty. Projects may require prior approval by the university´s Institutional Review Board (IRB), depending on the nature of the project and the policies at the faculty member´s university. Therefore three areas related to IRB review of class projects at business communication faculty is involved in human subjects research. |
