| Abstract: | Using three studies, this study explores the impact of perceived risk and negative affect on risky choice. In all the three studies, both perceived risk and negative affect were shown to be significant predictors of risky choice. In together, the findings of these studies show support for the idea of a dual-process model of risky choice. |
