Abstract: | This article examines scenario planning in organizations paying particular attention to cognitive goals and team design. Social identity theory, self or social categorization theory and the Five Factor Model of human personality are highlighted in order to remind the importance of diversity in scenario planning teams. Authors show the benefits of a pragmatic science approach in design process and its impacts on organizational change and development. They also offer generalized useful proposals for organizational designers. |
