| Abstract: | From 1979 to the end of 1992, the agreement volume of foreign investment is US$ 110.46 billion and the active utilization of foreign funds is US$ 34.34 billion. Of them, the corresponding portions in 1992 are respectively 52.6% and 32.2%. 80% of total of foreign direct investment is focused on the eastern China, in which, the investment of in Guangdong and Fujian is nearly 50%. The scales of foreign direct investment projects are generally small, average US$ 1217 thousands of one project. The foreign investments obviously prefer to processing industry, tour facilities, and real assets, etc. The paper also analyzed the economic effect of foreign-founded enterprises. |
