| Abstract: | Areal typology may open new prospects towards establishing correlations between properties of natural languages and the typology of culture. The article attempts to map up characteristic features of various languages and language groups in accordance with cultural and geographic areas and puts forward the task of describing a linguistic and culturological system based on features that can be traced back throughout the history of humankind. |
