| Abstract: | The repository is the heart of information engineering (IE) because it contains information on, and provides the link between, all aspects of IE. The repository is perhaps the key component of a CASE environment, for without it, true integration of specifications from front-end and back-end CASE tools would not be possible. This paper examines the repository and how it facilitates IE and CASE. |
