| Abstract: | Over the past decade there has been a good deal of controversy concerning the relationship between the academic and corporate communities on the subject of management and executive development. This article focuses on some primary themes to help sharpen this debate: executive education's role in integrating individual development needs with organizational development requirements; the impact of having more sophisticated corporate "users" and more market-focused university "suppliers" of executive education with regard to correcting the pathologies etc. |
