| Abstract: | The northeastern past is the important base of heavy and chemical industries of China. Since 1992, great demand for products of heavy and chemical industries has stimulated the fast growth of industries in the northeast. The quickening of the process of industrialization and change of the industrial structure in China will provide new opportunities for the development of heavy and chemical industries in the northeast. The paper also puts forward proposals for the establishment of the Northeast Asia economic circle. |
