| Abstract: | Judging by the gross volume of supply and demands of steel products in 1994, the supply and demand is basically balanced. The quantity of total demand is expected to be 98-100 million tons. The output is planned to be 81 million tons, while the volume of import is expected to be 100 million tons. Besides , another 8 million tons in stocks can be utilized so that the quantity of total supply will exceed 90 million tons. The basic domestic balance of supply of steels suggests that a swing is unlikely in prices of steels. |
