| Abstract: | There are two different views on international corporation's holding a controlling share in China. Some advocate no intervention. Others have apprehensions of it. We think that it basically accords with the present industrial guidance policy of utilizing foreign investment. Under the correct guidance, the serialized investment will have the effect of "bringing a serial of projects and radiating to many places by introducing one investment project". But we can not neglect its negative influence which finds expression in international corporations' holding a controlling share in a serial of investment and even controlling competition and forming monopoly. So we should examine and approve projects with great care. When we set up joint ventures, we should explore a cooperation model benefiting both sides. |
