| Abstract: | In this paper the author tries to clarify some of the methodological debate by offering 'a tale of two perspectives'. He argues that almost all research to date has used one of two methodologies: 'labour' approach or the 'trade' approach. These two approaches are distinguished by how they model the national labour-demand schedule. |
