| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to provide an empirical insight into the problems faced by a reasonably diverse sample of what could be regarded as typical small businesses by examining the ownermanager's perceptions of these issues. The sample comprises businesses which are predominantly neither fast growing or failures, but average performers and survivors. |
