| Abstract: | This paper consists of two parts. The first part considers the market economies of western Europe and North America. The second part considers the transition economies. In the part about the market economies, the authors consider recent developments and the current outlook, European monetary policy, raising of western Europe's growth rate and labor market. In the part about the transition economies the authors consider recent developments and the current outlook and then - the Yugoslav economy and stability in south-east Europe. The paper provides a number of graphs, charts and tables on this subject. |
