| Abstract: | A survey of Israeli senior citizens was conducted for the purpose of identifying factors which affect their decision to take vacations for differing length of time. Their tourism motivation was found to be a function of income and health, but their trip duration changes with age. Between the afe of 55 and 65 expanding leisure time and increased household income cause an increase in the number of vacation days taken. |
