| Abstract: | The authors investigate interaction effects of reciprocity and repeated game incentives in two treatments of a a gift-exchange game. In both treatments the authors observe reciprocity, which is srtengthened in the repeated game. They conclude that long-term interaction is a "reciprocity-compatible contract enforcement device. |
