Abstract:The paper examines the theoretical and empirical analysis of the relevance of geodemographic segmentation as a support tool in the definition of an optimal geographic price discrimination strategy on the part of retail firms. The authors conclude that geodemographic segmentation is capable of capturing the particular circumstances of the markets that favour a price policy adapted to each store.
