| Abstract: | This article investigates whether there exist differences in opportunity recognition, cultural support and self-efficacy besides significant differences in growth aspirations of new entrepreneurs in Slovenia compared to those in Hungary and Croatia. The findings suggest that greater alertness to unexploited perceived opportunities together with cultural support may be the reason for higher growth aspirations in Slovenia. |
