Abstract: | In recent years, the demand growth for adventure (hereafter as: adv.) tourism has been significant. In this study, an existing marketing framework is applied to empirically examine the relationships btw. value, satisfaction (as: s-f.), and behavioural intentions (as: beh-ints.) in an adv. tourism context. More than 400 respondents provided their perceptions of the value for an adv. tour in Australia. Customer value was conceptualized as a multidimensional construct. Three value dimensions had strong, positive influences on customer satisfaction and beh-ints. in an adv. tourism setting. Value-for-money was prominent, but also emotional value and novelty value were also significant predictors of s-f. and future intentions. |
