Abstract:The article examines cross-cultural literature and attitude theories to formulate a model through which specific values affect the intervening variables that finally lead managers to tolerate employee bribery. Latin America is studied to demonstrate the possible effect of regionally dominant cultural values on managers' attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, which contribute to the tolerance of employee bribery.
