| Abstract: | This paper deals with the processes associated with serendipity in the organizational context. Meaning the accidental discovery of something valuable, serendipity is basically a process of metaphorical association, seeing something in another thing. New ways of seeing may offer the ingredients needed for exploratory learning and creativity, which will counter organizational tendencies towards inertia and the ossification of dominant practices and mindsets. |
