| Abstract: | Definitions of strategic management by Ansoff and others are cited. An applications of their initial ideas is described. Six phases of strategic analysis, planning and implementation are outlined. The process developed has been used to introduce strategic management concepts to managers. The techniques used and some of the key points developed in the training and consulting projects are described under each phase. The phases are to be seen as interrelated and may be applied in different sequences. |
