| Abstract: | A clear definition of Strategic Management is proposed by developing an integrated strategic management model which includes strategic control concepts and incorporates the strength of existing models. Identification of the strategic management approach,a managerial effort to cope with an uncertain future,description of the features of a decision support system and illustration of a way to combine both the strategic management concept and a decision support system to enable the firm more effectively to obtain and utilize information important to its strategic decisions are proposed. |
