Abstract:Will the development of commercial activities within the French Telecommunications administration lead actors to change their company projects and organizational objectives? The bureaucratic and the profit-oriented types of activities are described and analyzed. A survey has brought to light three behavioural patterns or dominant logics: of nostalgic, of pioneers and of managers. It is shown that these different logics of actors correspond to those specific ways according to organizations function. Legally, the French Telecommunications has the status of an "administration", but this cannot, alone, explain the degree of success of its sales sector.
