| Abstract: | French sales figures show that more disks were certified silver, gold or platinium in 1987 than before. In December VAT rate for records and tapes were cut, which may account for the suddenly booming market. CD and cassette sales were especially high. The hardware sector couldn't complain either. Warner Video commercial director hopes for a new sales market in France where VCR ownership rose 18% last year. |
