| Abstract: | Interest in the new performance-related pay system appears to be high not only with white-collar, but manual workers as well. This article is about a study that has been conducted at eight companies that introduced performance-related pay for manual workers. It focuses on the benefits and problems the new system can bring, it fills in the gaps and draws the conclusion that the new system must be implemented with care. |
