| Abstract: | The purpose is to develop the notion of problem analysis as a collection of heuristic methods by which striking insights into problems can often be achieved. Mostly various heuristic methods of analysis are presented and illustrated as problem analysis. Heuristic methods are presented, explained, and applied to a classic management case, yielding an expanded view of the problem and its possible broader set of solutions. Directions for future research and practice in problem analysis are discussed. |
