| Abstract: | The impact of OECD countries' growth performance, industrial and agricultural policies, monetary and exchange rate policies, special international trade arrangements on economic prospects of various groups of developing countries is analysed. The impact of the above factors critically depends on the capacity of developing countries to deal with external shocks. OECD countries should take into account the repercussions of their action on the developing world. |
