| Abstract: | The author first analyzes the current characteristics of unemployment and then the major problems in China's present umployment insurance system, which include narrow applicable scope, insufficient sources of funds for unemployment insurance, low level of insurance, difficulties in re-employment, imperfect management and supervision system for unemployment insurance. At last, the author puts forward the measures to deepen the reform of unemployment insurance: 1. to gradually enlarge the scale of implementation; 2. to strengthen fund-raising work; 3. to raise the level of insurance; 4. to actively promote the re-employment project; 5. to establish an effective supervision mechanism. |
