| Abstract: | Warrington's District General Hospital has won an award for the best hospital management initiative. They designed a package of benefits to improve recruitment and retention. The benefits include a chiropody and optician's service, a well person's clinic open to male and female, a staff shop, a nursery and a paternity leave scheme. All these have led to a remarkable improvement in staff turnover and wastage. |
