Abstract:There has been some disillusionment among top executives recently because of work overload, time pressures, and the negative impact of the job on family relationships. Health risks are also among the complaints. These are some of the findings of a recent survey conducted by Cary Cooper and Val Sutherland of UMIST's Manchester School of Management. They call for radical change in corporate values and expectations.
