Abstract:This paper analyses a structural model of job satisfaction and intentions to quit using data from a study of general practitioners in the United Kingdom. Findings show that job and personal features have a direct influence on job satisfaction as well as indirect impact through job satisfaction domains. It is also showed that job satisfaction domains have a direct influence on quitting intentions, in addition to their impact via overall job satisfaction.
