Abstract:In maintaining relationship with travelers via the Internet, permission marketing is becoming an important tool. It can be seen in tourism marketing, specially in the lodging industry. The article identifies three segments of the markets and makes comparison based upon their willingness to supply contact information. The results show significant differences for example in socio-demographics and online habits.
