Abstract: | Intentions data commonly contain systematic biases: intentions change over time and not accurately predict consumers' purchase behavior. This paper proposes a unified model that considers various sources of discrepancies between intentions and purchasing. The model forecasts purchasing probability at the individual-level by linking explanatory variables and intentions to actual purchasing. |
